Set in lush plant tunnels in Sussex, this relaxed botanical wedding blended Italian dinner party vibes, DIY details and a heartfelt Mother’s Day moment, complete with a bride holding her baby as she said “I do.”
On a day dedicated to mothers, it feels only right to share this wedding! Tori, radiant and calm, walked down the aisle to greet Tom and baby Mack. Throughout their ceremony, Tori held baby Mack in her arms as she married Tom beneath a canopy of towering trees at Architectural Plants. Tori made the walk down the aisle to Here Comes The Sun, the very same song that their son entered the world to. If there were ever a Mother’s Day moment guaranteed to ruin even waterproof mascara, this was it.
But motherhood shaped this wedding in more ways than one. Alongside celebrating their new little family, Tori & Tom made sure Tori’s mum was woven gently into the day too. From meaningful heirloom details to quiet symbolic touches, her presence was felt throughout the celebration, a reminder that weddings aren’t just about the future, but the love that carried you there.
Set within the extraordinary plant tunnels at Architectural Plants in Sussex, the day unfolded among dramatic trees and lush foliage. Think botanical jungle meets vintage Italian dinner party.
The couple leaned into the natural drama of their surroundings: olive trees, warm terracotta tones, long communal tables and unfussy styling that allowed the greenery to do most of the talking.
But this wasn’t just about aesthetics. Almost every detail was handcrafted by friends and family. Tom’s mum transformed humble IKEA bedsheets into elegant tablecloths and napkins! Their friend Alice painted glorious fabric draping to welcome guests and even conducted their hand-tying ceremony. Moss made Tori’s veil by hand. Mollie crafted their beautifully cool rings. Most of the details came from their talented inner circle.
