At Circa we pride ourselves on offering the very best hog roast, and to match the occasion to the meal, we have two different options — an evening buffet and a main, plated meal. Both are mouth-watering, but create a different feel depending on when and where you are serving your hog roast. Our Sussex pigs are cooked over an oak and apple wood fire pit and turned for up to seven hours, ensuring the meat is succulent and has a deliciously smoky flavour.
For the evening buffet, the hog roast is served in farm-baked fresh bread rolls with apple and lavender sauce, sea-salted crackling, crispy pancetta and sage stuffing — a perfect treat for your hungry guests.
For a main, plated meal the roast pig is hand carved by chefs and presented on a plate with peppered new potatoes, braised red cabbage, apple and lavender sauce, sea-salted crackling and a selection of four of the Circa salads. We have 15 Circa salads for you to choose from, including ‘char grilled vegetables, bulgar wheat, fresh herbs’ and ‘wild rocket, shaved parmesan, balsamic dressing’. We can also adjust the salads to your taste or design a new one for you from your favourite ingredients.
