Southover Grange

The Grange is a beautiful Elizabethan House, built in 1572, and still retains most of it’s original features. The ceremony takes place in the Lewes Registrars building on the top floor of the Grange. Please call the registrars office directly on 01273 475589 for ceremony details.

After the ceremony, you will lead out to the stunning gardens, where you can have photographs taken under one of the oldest Mulberry trees in England, or next to the Winterbourne stream which divides the amazing floral displays.

The Ainsworth room can seat up to 60 guests for the wedding breakfast. The Newton room can be used for the band/DJ for the evening celebration. The maximum capacity using all rooms is 120 guests.

Venue hire

Based on an hourly rate of 10am – 6pm £36.50 per hour, 6pm – 12am £48.50 per hour, Sunday clear up rate £72.00 per hour (minimum 2 hours).
